Why android phone updates sucks:Ft.Budget phones...

What is android ?

An android is an operating system based on micro-kernel of Linux and it is an opensource operating system owned by Google and it is one of the most used operating system used widely all around the world. Most phone vendors from budget segment to high end use this operating system by by the way they want.
Smartphone vendors like GOOGLE , SAMSUNG , LG , XIAOMI , REALME , OPPO , VIVO , ONEPLUS     etc customize the operating system on the way they want and they provide updates in the way they want.

How do android get update ?
Every year a new version of android is released by GOOGLE and then the manufacturer gets its hands-on on and then they start to release the update for their devices
depending on the hardware capabilities they provide the update and sometimes they just don't provide the update and only gives the security updates to the user and that is quite sad and that's how android phones receives their update.
And now why sometimes this updates sucks ?
When we use a budget phone between the price range of $100 - $250 we get the latest software and stuffs and at that time the phone performs great and makes the overall user experience great. But after a year or two the performance sucks because the at that time a new version of android is being released and as the new version is released the operating system becomes more power hungry and it is designed for that kind of hardware and even that also does not matter till some extent because the phone you are using has become old and it's hardware has also been used for a long time i.e SoC.
For e.g: I have two android phones one is from VIVO and one is from XIAOMI and both the phones have the same Soc i.e Snapdragon 425 and as you know it is a quad-core processor and for software
VIVO runs on android 6.0 (marshmallow) and XIAOMI runs on android 8.1(oreo) and both of them have their own custom android skin i.e FunTouch OS (VIVO) and Miui(XIAOMI) and to be true the performance on VIVO is quite good i mean it's not as good when it was knew but overall it performs well but , XIAOMI it totally sucks and lags frequently and makes me always frustuated and for your kind information both the phone have 3GB RAM  even though they perform quite different.
Overall i would say that a phone which lies under $100-$250 must be given 2 years of software support for better user experience and for  for devices above $300 must be given 3 years of upgrade.

What about flagships ?
When it come to flagships vendors like ONEPLUS , GOOGLE provides upto 4 years  of upgrade but SAMSUNG , HUAWEI and many brands only push updates for 3 years or less.
Which is worst because after paying more than $700 they don't care about their phones.

So who is best in providing update ?
I would say APPLE i.e IOS updates are best they are costly but their update support last for 5 years which is just insane and this makes many of to buy buy an IPHONE over any flagship phone.

Why AMD systems are good for Linux ?

AMD , INTEL , NVIDIA  are the three manufactures of the computer world were NVIDIA and AMD also makes gpu for the systems for high performance gaming and rendering work. Their hardware is used by laptop vendors and are also used for PC build. These days most of users opt for Windows for gaming and other kind of stuffs and most of us usually sticks for NVIDIA gpu for better performance compared to AMD.  Most of the time when we install Linux on a windows machine we may sometime get stuck with driver issues in the system and this makes overall experience worst compared to windows installed in your machine. But vendors like AMD has good opensource driver support which support all kind configuration out of the box so the experience remain quite similar as on windows. But when it comes to NVIDIA it sucks because its opensource drivers are not that stable when compared to AMD as per my experience. NVIDIA drivers can be easily installed on UBUNTU based systems but on Solus and Fedora

Why one should learn Linux or use it ?

Linux is an opensource operating system which was developed by Linus Torvalds and the best part of it is that you don't have to pay to use the operating system on your machine. You can make it or change it in the way you want your desktop to look no vendor locks or any restrictions. But why one should use Linux ? If you want to work on big projects or your system has low power hardware or you are a student and want to make your career in computers and software than you are the person who should you use Linux  Now a days most of the company would love to hire a man who have good knowledge of Linux and have good knowledge of CMI(command line interface ) as it boost your resume and even gives you and edge over any one. Most of the companies run their server on Linux because it is more reliable and can be configured in the way they want. Top companies like AMAZON (AWS) , ORACLE , GOOGLE MICROSOFT AZURE also uses Linux because it's downtime if low when compared to any
