Which Operating System to choose ? Windows or Linux

What is Windows ?

Windows is paid self developed operating system developed by Microsoft and it's os which has the highest market share in the PC world.

Windows 10 is the latest and the greatest of Microsoft till date,because Microsoft has dropped the support of it's older Windows 7 on

14th January 2020.

What is Linux ?

When is comes to Linux it is an operating system developed by Linus Torvalds. And one of the best thing about Linux is that it is free and can be used by anyone without paying any single penny.

One thing that makes Linux unique is that you can run it on any hardware may be a rasberry-pi.

Top 5 supercomputers also runs on Linux and has less downtime when compared to Windows.

Which one should you use ?

Most pc's and laptops these days shipped with Windows 10 and even they provide an option for Linux OS which reduces price of the same laptop and makes it cheaper.But then the question arises which one to choose ?Linux or Windows

If Windows :

Windows is totally maintained by Microsoft and all the updates and stuffs are handled by Microsoft.

All the drivers are made for Windows by the hardware vendors and are developed to give the best of the performance.

Windows is for those who loves to game and are more related to small stuffs like office works , movie watching etc.

Cons:

Many of the times it's updates break the system and are prone to malware attacks and it gets slower and slower and this makes you to reset your laptop.

If Linux:

Most of you have heard that it is for developers but now it is everyone distros like Pop! OS,Manjaro,Ubuntu,Elementary OS etc.. are so good and fast that you will regret to use Windows. Sometimes you may get stuck somewhere but thanks to the Linux Community that all the problems are resolved quite easily.

Cons:

Though you can play some games on Linux but not all the games are available to play like on Windows.

Conclusion:

If you are a student,developer or any one who is computer geek then go for Linux.

If you are a guy who loves to play games and love entertainment then Windows is for you.
